Usually we Latinos are effusive when it comes to greeting, and then kisses, hugs, pats appear, at least a handshake. But in some contexts, such as an epidemic of contact contagion, many of those greetings should be avoided. And since we can't stand the genius, we end up inventing a "touch or shock of elbows" greeting that is less risky and remains a way of showing affection, that you don't feel a rejection towards the other.

TOUCH OF CODOS Greeting or farewell between two people that is done by touching the elbows of the same side to replace the taken of hands that we have inherited from the Romans, who implemented it to prevent in the old embrace they were stabbed in the back. The idea is to minimize the likelihood of narrow contact contagion.
